Q: What can I expect when working with you?
A: We understand that hiring someone to care for your loved one is not just a transaction — it is a deeply personal and sensitive process. At Autism Inspired Solutions, we are committed to walking this journey with you step by step, ensuring that your family receives ethical, competent, and heart-centred care.
Here’s what you can expect when working with us:
Step 1: Initial Contact
Whether you reach out via WhatsApp, phone call, email, or our online Consultation Form, your journey begins with making contact. An Autism Inspired consultant will respond within 24 hours to acknowledge your request and arrange the next step.
Step 2: In-Depth Consultation
We will schedule a 60–90 minute telephonic or video consultation to obtain clarity of your family’s unique needs, values, daily routines, sensitivities, and expectations.
Step 3: Agreement to Proceed
Once you are comfortable with our approach, you will be required to sign our Terms and Conditions and pay a 50% placement deposit to officially begin the placement process.
Step 4: Candidate Shortlisting
We present up to 3 carefully matched candidates within 3–10 working days, depending on the role and availability.
Step 5: Interviews & Introductions
We will assist in arranging video interviews and, where possible, in-person meetings. Video calls are encouraged as a way of saving time and costs for both parties.
Step 6: Final Selection & Vetting
Once you have selected your preferred candidate following interviews, we initiate full vetting on that candidate. This includes reference checks, social media screening, criminal record checks and verifications of identity, education and driver’s license where applicable. While every effort is made to provide prompt service, local vetting may take up to 7 days, while international checks may take up to 30 days.
Step 7: Caregiver Preparation and Readiness
Before placement, we conduct a dedicated preparaton session with the selected caregiver. This session focusses on understanding your family’s specific needs, routines and expectations, and includes our Caregiver Work Readiness Programme, designed to support a smoother, more aligned transition into your home.
Where required, this preparation can be adapted for elderly care or other special needs environments.
Step 8: Employment Preparation
We prepare a tailored employment contract based on your specific requirements and mutual agreement, and facilitate the signing process. We also assist with UIF registration and provide onboarding guidance to support a smooth start.
This process supports accruate record-keeping for UIF and SARS requirements, making annual tax submissions and (disability) claims more manageable.
Step 9: Start of Employment & Final Payment
The caregiver begins work on the agreed start date. The remaining 50% placement fee is due and payable on or before the caregiver’s first day of employment.
Step 9: Courtesy Follow-Up
We conduct a courtesy call post-placement to ensure everything is progressing well.
Step 10: Ongoing Support – 30-Day Guarantee
We offer support and advice throughout the 30-day guarantee period, and assist with any required replacements (where necessary) in line with our Terms and Conditions.
OUR PROMISE
We Are Your Partner In Care.
