Caregiver Work Readiness & Neurodiversity Competence

Description:

A practical training designed to prepare caregivers, class assistants, domestic workers and nannies to confidently support autistic children i the home environment.  The course equips them with essential skills in routine management, communication, safety, emotional regulation and respectful caregiving

Equips domestic workers, nannies, au pairs and caregivers with autism-specific skills — communication, sensory awareness, safety, emotional regulation, and household structure.

Autism Sensitivity & Awareness for Security Personnel

Description:

Security personnel are the first line of contact across various industries.  This course equips security officers with the skills to correctly identify and safely respond to autistic individuals in public or high-pressure environments.  Participants learn how to to distinguish between intentional defiance and sensory distress, apply calm  de-escalation techniques and communicate respectfully with both autistic individuals and their caregivers.  The goal is to prevent unnecessary conflict, protect vulnerable community members and build trust between security teams and the public.

A:  Yes – handouts  and optional certificates are available.

A:  Yes – we tailor content to the audience and context.

Q: Do you travel for workshops?

A:  Yes, we do travel for workshops.  Travel within a 20km radius is included in the quoted fee.  For locations beyond this  range, an  additional  travel fee will be added based on distance and discussed during booking.

Q: How far in advance should we book?

A:  We recommend booking at least 1 -2 weeks in advance.  However, urgent bookings may be accommodated depending on availability.
